Skrämmande skildring av dagens samhälle

It took some time for me to really enjoy this book. It started, and also continued, a bit slowly but when I got used to it I didn't thougt of it so much. Also, in the second half of the book, many detailed desprictions disappeared in behalf of more action which I liked. Overall the book contained, in my opinion, too much details and many too long parts of uninteresting information. What I like with the book is that it is a scary description of our contemporary society with for example social media and a few commercial companys that decides about which information we can take part of and see. Also I think that Eggers in a good way portrait the characters and the story to really show the reader how shallow and controlling social media and all kinds of information can be.

Det började långsamt. För mycket detaljer och många delar av ointressant information. Det jag gillar med boken är att det är en skrämmande beskrivning av vårt nutida samhälle med till exempel sociala medier och några få kommersiella företag som bestämmer över vilken information vi får ta del av och se. Eggers porträtterar karaktärerna och handlingen bra för att visa på det ytliga och sjuka.
