The goals of the book are (1) to highlight the suffering and struggles endured by Harry Patrick Holl's children (i.e. my late father and his three sisters who were born at the beginning of the twentieth century); (2) to focus on the injustices of the period that prevented Harry Patrick Holl from setting up a Guardians Fund, which, I believe, led to his premature death which was reported as an Accident; (3) to highlight the peer pressure at that time that prevented Patrick Harry Holl from openly educating his biracial or Coloured children; and (4) to highlight the evils of colonialism, whose negative effects were being experienced by most people who were born and lived in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe).

I am a person who has lived an extraordinary life. I was born in a racially divided country which had been colonized by Britain. My parents suffered under the heavy yoke of colonialism. My parents suffered greatly under the system. My father suffered due to lack of education. He even lost the little that his father had set aside as his inheritance to the black people through greed. I too suffered a great deal growing up in Rhodesia where I was denied equal opportunity for school, jobs, promotions, etc. even under the new government of African Majority Rule. Despite these setbacks I managed to rise to the position of Administrative Officer in the colonial regime and to Corporate Secretary in the Mugabe regime. I even went further by being the first non-white to own and run a successful accounting firm in Harare.
