    Här berättas den klassiska historien om den vackre ynglingen som får sitt porträtt målat och blir så bländad av dess skönhet att han i ett anfall av skräck för att åldras uttalar de ödesdigra ord som beseglar hans öde. Han är villig att ge sin själ mot att han alltid kommer att vara lika ung som på porträttet. Hans önskan blir uppfylld.

    Den som tänker på filmen med Ben Barnes som kom för något år sedan blir kanske besviken över avsaknaden av detaljer om hur syndigt och omoraliskt li... Läs hela recensionen

    Denna bok handlar om en man som får sitt porträtt målat, och blir besatt av att behålla sin ungdom, vilket han får genom att porträttet tar hand om hans åldrande och hans dåliga handlingar. Läsvärd i dagens utseendefixerade samhälle.
